Just above the scroll wheel is a single button that allows instant adjustments of six DPI sensitivity levels: 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2500dpi without the need to install a driver. We would prefered to have two buttons here instead, so we could 'back up' one level of sensitivity instead of having to click forward until we reached the desired lower sensitivity level.

With six sensitivity levels it would be hard to figure out what level you have set the mouse without some kind of indicator. Thankfully A4tech came up with a solution in the form of a light-up scroll wheel that changes colors to indicate the level of DPI sensitivity.

From the above picture we can see that 600dpi is white, 800dpi is green, 1200dpi is yellow and the 1600dpi is red. As for the last two setting 2000dpi and 2500dpi, they flash between red and yellow, and green and yellow respectively.

Testing:

We tested the mouse with various first person shooters such as UT2004, Fear, and Farcry, etc as well as normal windows XP use.

This mouse is incredible sensitive especially on 2000 or higher dpi. I'm used to a setting of 1600dpi on my mouse and found the higher settings to be a bit too much for me. That's just me personally, someone might prefer a higher setting than mine.

The overall feel of the mouse is comfortable and the buttons are easily accessable. It didn't take long to settle in with this mouse.

As for the the Triple Fire button that seems like the main selling point for this mouse, seems to be more of a novelty. Many of the first person shooter games we tried only require the user to hold down the left mouse button for rapid fire. Most of the time this method was faster than using the Triple Fire button. With certain weapons the Triple Fire button would act like a tri burst mode with fully automatic weapons, which could be a handy way of saving ammo.

The Triple fire button when used in a windows enviroment worked fine as a quick double click.

The X-750F Laser gaming Mouse is one of the most sensitive laser mice we've tried to date. If your old mouse isn't cutting it and you need more sensitivity you should check out the X-750F.

Pros:

- Adjustable six levels of dpi sensitivity
-Scroll wheel changes color with the level of dpi sensitivity
-2500dpi maximum
-Comfortable

Cons:
-Single sensitivity level button (forward only)
-Limited Triple Fire button use
