Today we take a look at the newest Samsung 19" monitor, the Syncmaster 931BW. This newest model features the now popular wide screen that not only can achieve a maximum native resolution of 1440 x 900, but has a 2 ms response time which should make this screen a good bet for pc gamers.
Included with the 931BW is the power adapter and cord, analog signal cable, digital signal cable, install CD and manual.
For this monitor, Samsung has changed the look of the monitor with a glossy black finish.
The 931BW monitor has a scanning frequency of 56-75 Hz, and is capable of delivering a 500:1 contrast ratio. To achieve the 1440 x 900 resolution, a driver needs to be installed which is included on the install CD. It is also HDTV Ready with DVI input with HDCP support.
The 931BW has a fairly narrow side profile and won't take up much desk top real estate, despite its wide screen.
