When it comes to copying documents it couldn't be any simpler. Just select the number of copies, and the amount of zoom between 50-199% if needed and press the copy button. The copying function doesn't require a computer; it's completely handled by the SCX-4500.
When the SCX-4500 is used as a scanner, it can achieve color scans of up to 600 x 2400 dpi.
The SCX-4500 is also designed to function at a lower noise threshold than typical printers. A normal conversation between two people is about 50dB of sound but with the SCX-4500, it is just 45dB. This printer will no longer intrude you with a noisy working environment.
One welcome new feature of the SCX-4500 is the semi-auto sliding cassette tray. The ample 100-sheet tray slides out with a simple push of the eject button. Once the stock is replenished push the tray and feel the docking mechanism lock into place.
The Samsung SCX-4500 is a step in the right direction for printers. Every other component of the PC has been updated from the days of the beige box and so should the printer. With its small foot print and great looks, it'll fit right in at the office or home.
