It was inevitable that computer monitors and TVs would merge into one. Today we take a look at one such hybrid from Samsung the Syncmaster P2370HD Monitor. Featuring a 23" wide screen display and is HD Ready.
The P2370HD monitor features a built-in 1080p digital HDTV tuner which allows you to play high def games and watch blu-ray movies with full HD image quality. Also it’s Energy Star rated so it uses 50% less energy and RoHs compliant since Samsung cut down on hazardous materials during the production.
The P2370HD monitor is capable of 1920 x 1080 resolution, and 50,000:1 contrast ratio and has a 5ms video response time.
Also included are integrated speakers with SRS TruSurround, and both HDMI and component inputs.
The oval-shaped footstand is 11 inches wide by 7.5 inches deep, but unfortunately the screen height isn't adjustable, and there are neither screen rotation nor pivot options for portrait mode. There is only the capability to tilt the screen back and forth.
