Today we take a look at the new Samsung BD-P1500 Blue ray DVD Player. This is the latest model to come out of Samsung that promises both quality and affordability.
The unit is the typical sleek looking design that Samsung has come to be known for. The player measures 16.9 x 3.3 x 10.8 inches and weighs in at 8.6 pounds.
Included with the BD-P1500 is a remote control, user manual, and a RCA cable. For the other types of video and audio connections the BD-P1500 is capable of, you will have to purchase the cables yourself.
The Blu-ray disc player features BD profile 1.1 which gives the player picture in picture capability. Samsung has released that a firmware upgrade in October will bring this to BD profile 2.0.
It is also features Samsung’s Anynet+ technology (HDMI-CEC) which allows one remote control to be used with other compatible components.
