The Samsung BD-P1500 can output images at full HD 1080p resolution. It also features DVD up-conversion to 1080p through the HDMI output. The player also supports 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p and 480i resolutions.
On the audio side, the BD-P1500 features onboard decoders for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS.

Image quality on the BD-P1500 Blu ray player is fantastic, as was evident in all the Blu ray movies we tossed at it. The level of detail and sharpness of the picture was phenomenal. Load times on this player are a bit slow but barable.
