Well from the results the WriteMaster SE-W164 performed rather well. Actually better than some internal DVD writers I've seen.
During operation the unit was very quiet and didn't retain much heat. The vertical stand is a life saver when it comes to taking up desk space on a cluttered desk like mine.
The WriteMaster SE-W164 External DVD writer is a great addition to anyone who hasn't got the internal space to add a DVD writer. Plus with the wide variety formats of media the unit can use, you just can't lose.
Pros:
-Good Performance
-Portable
-Burns large capicity 8.5 gig Disks
-Light weight
-Can be used Horizontally or Vertically
