Today we take a look at a new uniquely designed heatsink/fan combo from Spire Coolers. The Verticool II is made of an all copper heatsink with dual copper heatpipes leading up to forty five aluminum micro-fins providing the optimal cooling configuration. The Verticool II is also capable of fitting nearly every processor available on the market today.
The Verticool II heat sink comes with mounting hardware and an instruction sheet. Spire has even supplied some thermal grease with the cooler. The unit is compatible with Intel's Celeron D, AMD's Sempron processors, and Intel Pentium EE & AMD Athlon64, and FX processors.
Mounted on the side of the heat sink, Spire uses an 80mm version of their signature "UV-Reactant Spider Fan" which is capable of pushing out 25.78CFM of air at 2300 RPM. The noise rating of the verticool II is 19.0 dBA. The fan is tailed with a 3 pin connector.
