Testing is as easy as unplugging your power supply from the motherboard and connecting the tester to it. I suggest you remove all connections to peripherals for a more accurate test result.
Once you have the tester plugged in, the display will indicate voltage for each readout. If the voltage is higher or lower than +/- 5% tolerance range for the 5V rails and 3.3V rails, and within 10% on the 12V rails, an alarm will sound if the voltage is too high or too low. The display will also indicate high voltage with 'HH' and low voltage or no voltage with 'LL'. The faulty value will also blink on the display for easier identification.
The EZ Power Supply Tester 3 is a handy power supply diagnostics tool. It so easy to use, it'll save you from a lot of headaches when you trouble shooting your computer.
Pros:
-Display voltage within +/- 0.1V.
