On the front of the Light Bus we have four adjustment controls with a knob in the center of each. Each control has buttons labeled ON, HDD, ST, and SOUND. On the right far side of the control are two more buttons labeled ALT1 and ALT2 with another knob labeled SOUND.
On the back of the unit we can see that each channel uses a three pin molex connector to control the lighting. Since some lighting equipment uses four pin Molex connectors Sunbeamtech has included a four adapter wires to solve this problem.
Channel Controls:
• ON: Press this button to turn on CCFL’s or fans connected, press again to turn off.
• HDD: Lights flash as the HDD light flashing so that you can learn the working status of your computer from the lights like.
• ST: Lights fade in/out gradually.
• SOUND: Lights will respond to the sound signals from the sound card.
• KNOBS: Control the fan speed or the light brightness. Rotate the knob clockwise for enhancing; Counter Clockwise for weakening.
• ALT1 & ALT2: 2 different effects that make lighting rotate between channel 1 to channel 4.
• SOUND KNOB: Adjust the sound sensitivity.
Above are some of the lighting effects that can be reproduced with the Light Bus. More examples are available on the SunBeamTech website. Since the combinations are almost endless we couldn't show all of them. ;) The unit can also be connected to a soundcard output and cause the lighting to strobe with the beat. Another option is you can use the unit as a fan speed controller.
The Light Bus from SunBeamtech is a unique lighting product that will suit anyone who wants to add a some flash to there case.
