Overall Thoughts:
The Samsung DVD-R120 menu system is pretty much intuitive, requiring only a light perusing of the manual. Recording quality was very good especially on the highest setting but LP which provides 4 hours of recording time is good too. The quality of LP is a bit better than VHS quality, and would probably be the setting most used by the user.
all in all the Samsung DVD-R120 is a feature rich TV recording platform that is also affordable. The unit is available for around 179.00$ US.
Pros:
-One touch record
-Plenty of inputs and outputs
-Great looking
-Create title lists and play lists
-Remote Included
-Record digital video content from a DV Camcorder
Cons:
-Some DVD formats not supported for recording
