Spire's Diamondcool II Heatsink

Company: Spire
Product: Heatsink

Today we take a look at a new heatsink/fan combo from Spire Coolers the Diamondcool II. The Diamondcool II was designed for low noise operation while maintaining effective cooling. To help the cooler achieve this, the unit features an all copper heatsink and uses heat pipes to help reduce CPU temperature.

The Diamondcool II heat sink comes with all the mounting hardware and a simple to follow instruction sheet. Spire has even supplied some thermal grease with the cooler. The unit is compatible with Socket: 754 / 940 / 939 processors.

The heat sink is constructed with 55 copper fins and has four copper heat pipes connected to a solid copper base.

On top of the heat sink Spire uses their signature "UV-Reactant Spider Fan" which is a 90mm fan capable of pushing out 41.15 CFM of air at 2400 RPM. The Noise rating of the Diamiondcool II is 21 dBA. The fan is tailed with a 3 pin connector.
