The headphones performed adequately and the bass and treble range isn't too bad. Audiophiles will want to upgrade to better headphones to take advantage of the full quality sound the MT6Z player provides.
In this picture we have the mini USB adapter. This is the funky little gadget i mentioned earlier that lets you plug the player in to a USB port with out using the USB cable.
Unlike some MP3 players out there, the MT6Z has no need for a separate software program to load and delete files from the player. The MT6Z is completely drag and drop. Simply open up window explorer and drag music into the player. It's that simple!
Bundled with the driver disk is Samsungs YEPP Studio. Yepp studio is sort of Samsungs version of Winamp. It has your typical play list capabilities, play, pause, etc
Testing:
Music:
The MT6Z is nice player and provides good quality play back. The addition of the 3D sound enhancement really is what makes this player shine.
Radio:
The radio functions very well and you can even store up to twenty stations in memory for quick access.
Record:
The voice recording feature works but the sound quality isn't too great, though it's adequate for recording short memos.
The recordings are recorded in WAV format, and can be played by the player.
The MT6Z can also encode in MP3 which sounds quite good. The MT6Z can create mp3 files right off an audio input. You can even record the radio on the player with this function.
Samsung's MT6Z 1 gig Mp3 player is ideal for the user who wants a player packed with extra features, huge storage, and wrapped up in a small package.
