Underneath the vacuum is an added feature, a small spot light. The light can be used with or without the vacuum cleaner on.
Next to the light fixture is a 'turbo' button which will give the vacuum increased power and suction.
Testing:
After plugging in the vacuum, the first thing i tried was to feel how much suction the unit could provide against my hand. The results were a little lack luster, and it felt like there was no suction at all. Remembering that the unit had a 'turbo' button i switched it on and the unit whined even faster, but with still no real suction.
Well, since feeling the suction on your hand isn't really a good test of how well the vacuum performs, i moved on to clean the computer's keyboard and then some dust that had accumulated inside my computer case. Using the brush attachment i tried cleaning up a particularly nasty patch of dust, but it seemed the brush was more or less just pushing the dust around.
Opening up the dust housing, i was pleasantly surprised to discover the unit was actually sucking up dirt and dust. One tip for better performance is not to cover up the air vents on the unit.
Casebuy's USB Vacuum cleaner is a great idea but is a little under powered.
The vacuum seems better suited for light cleaning of dust, instead of for thorough cleaning of fan filters and caked on dust and debris.
