One way to increase your gaming experience is to get a good set of stereo headphones. An even better idea is to get a set of headphones with a built in microphone to take advantage of games that include a voice over ip technology to allow real-time chat with teammates and opponents during game play.
Today we take a look at and test a set of these gaming headphones from Icemat called their Siberia Multi Headset.
The Siberia Multi Headset is a little different than your typical gaming headset. Instead of having a microphone attached directly to the headphones on some sort of arm, the Siberia uses a removable volume control that also includes a lapel style microphone.
The headphones are very well constructed and are completely self adjusting to the user. This is achieved by way of two "bungee like" cords on each side of the head set.
Attached to the headphones is the audio cable that's a little on the short side measuring in at one meter long. Not to worry though the volume control/ microphone has an extra 1.8 meters of cord attached. The audio cable is tailed with a 1/8 inch plug that will fit a standard sound card input. As an extra bonus a 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch adapter is included.
