Today we take a look at a new innovative new product from A4tech called NB-30 Wireless optical mouse. The cool thing about this mouse is it requires no batteries to operate! Thus allowing you to save on battery costs and avoiding contributing to battery pollution.
In side the box you will discover a mouse, a mousepad like device with a USB cable connected, and a short instruction booklet. As soon as we saw the USB cord connected to the mousing surface the mystery of the battery free mouse started to make sense. Our logic being if the mouse pad thingy is getting power from the USB cord it must be transferring some power to the mouse.
According to A4Tech, the mouse gets its energy from Cross Inductive Power. What this does is allows the mousepad to send an electrical charge to the mouse by proximity, without contacting the mouse.
