The cigarette lighter was next. It works just like a lighter you would find in your car. Push it in and wait for it to pop out. This lighter sucks a lot of juice while it is heating up. I don’t know exactly how much power it takes but I’m not sure that I would use it with a 300 watt psu.
Also, if you have small children, I would suggest caution. The lighter goes in very easily and nobody wants to see a child get burned or worse. One point of security, the Xray does have a fuse incorporated into the setup so that if the lighter were to get stuck inside, it wouldn’t over heat and catch fire. It’s nice to see the extra thought being put in for safety’s sake.
When I first took a look at the Xray, I gave some thought to using the drink holder as an ashtray. It just seemed so practical. After some consideration though I decided against it due to the fact that ashes would eventually end up inside the case itself. Of course the Xray has so many more possibilities once you take the lighter out of the socket. Remove the lighter and suddenly you have a power source to charge your cell phone, power your cd player, etc.
This device was made for LAN parties. You have a power outlet to charge your toys and a place to keep your drink so that it does not get spilt or stolen. On top of all that, the Xray gives your case that little something special to help it stand out in a crowd.
Conclusion:
I liked the Xray for what it was. While I personally don’t have much use for the cigarette lighter, I keep finding more and more uses for the power outlet everyday. Also, after an initial bout of nervousness over putting cold drinks in the cup holder, I have found that the tray is sturdy and it keeps the container securely in place.

- Fuse to ensure the lighter does not overheat
- Cigarette lighter for your inner pyromaniac.
Cons:
- Lighter sucks a lot of power while heating up.
- Lighter is potentially dangerous if young children are around.
- Potential for condensation inside the cup holder
