The Xcontroller is solidly built and our test units control knobs turned smoothly and didn't feel junky.
As for the electronic components they were soldered nicely, with none of them feeling loose.
The wire from the Xcontroller that plugs to the power supply is gratefully long enough so you don't have to cram you hand into the back of the bay to plug the unit in.
The main feature of the Xcontroller is it has color LEDs that indicate approximately what each fans speed is.
The LEDS come in three colors: blue, green, and red.
-Blue indicates Low fan speed: 6.5~7.5 V
-Green indicates Medium fan speed: 7.5 ~9.5 V
-Red indicates High fan speed: 9.5V~12V
The Xcontroller is a nice no nonsense fan controller that compliments any fan hungry computer case.
