And yet another bundled product with the UFO Twin blade Fan, a fan controller. This is the same fan controller that
Thermaltake has been using lately to bundle with their products. It's easily installable in an empty pci slot.
If you would like the fan to be controlled according to how hot your CPU is, Thermaltake has added a CPU temperature probe that will control the fan also.
Your last option is to have this bad boy going at full speed with the jumper on.
Above we have the UFO lit up in all its glory. The LEDS are extremely bright and one could say the flashing light effect is just a bit too much. If you have a window on your case this might prove to be a bit distracting.
Test System
AMD XP 2600+ 333 MHz (AIUHB)
Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev 2.0
Corsair PC2700 XMS 512 MEGS
Thermaltake Damier 5000A case
Western Digital 80 gig 8 meg cache harddrive.
We will be testing the UFO fan on top of a Volcano 12 to compare it to the stock Volcano 12.
To calculate the idle temperatures, I gave the computer 10 minutes on its own before recording the temperature down. Next, using Sandra burn in wizard I allowed it to run 30 minutes and recorded the readings.
The UFO TwinBlade Fan is a nice performer and would be a great upgrade for your heatsink, especially those of you who have 80mm Heatsinks.

-High CFM capability
