The control panel features an LCD display that will show you your systems power consumption in Watts. Also two fan controllers are also included. One can used to control the speed of the PSU fan manually and the other is for the included 80mm x 80mm case fan if you decide to use it.
Here we see a shot of the extra case fan. It can provide a max air flow of 47.28 CFMs.
The extra 80mm x 80mm case fan is meant to exhaust out more internal case heat. On the system we tested the TWV 480 we didn't use it as the system had a larger more efficient fan already.
To test the unit, for three days i jotted down the voltage readings several times a day and averaged out the results.
+12 volts averaged 12.38
+5 volts came to 4.982
+3.3 volts came to 3.41.
All the numbers are right around the specs.
The TWV 480 power supply offers plenty of power and control over fan noise. Add in the ability to monitor your systems total Watt consumption, makes this PSU a real winner.
