Above we have a shot of the monitors side view and as you can see the unit is very thin. The screen it's self is about 10-11 cm wide. This monitor will give you much more desk space to use because of it's small and thin size.
On the back of the 173P we get a better view of the pivot arm. The arm actually has two pivot points one at the base and another near the screen. With two pivot points you'll be able to adjust the monitors viewing height as well as the screen angle.
The ports in the above screen are the power, digital, and analog inputs. The digital input uses DVI digital and the analog is your standard RGB.
We tested the 173P with everything from regular daily use (web browsing, graphics applications, word, etc.) to gaming with first person shooters like Starwars Battlefront, FarCry, and Doom 3. The display is crisp and colors are vibrant, there was occasionally slight ghosting when playing the mentioned games but it would only occur for a moment and wouldn't really distract you from playing.
If you're looking for a really sleek sexy looking monitor that won't take up much desk space you should check the Samsung SyncMaster 173P.
