Installation of the Hotdrive couldn't be any simpler. The Hotdrive's interface connector found on the rear cover connects to any mobile hard drive's EIDE/IDE connectors.
Next you attach the included heat resistant anti-shock patch to the top of your hard disk.
The last step is to insert the hard disk assembly into the Hotdrive's aluminum housing, and securing it using two screws.
Above is a shot of a typical key flash drive compared to the Hotdrive. The Hot drive is bigger but is still extremely portable and is about the size of a wallet.
As stated before the Hotdrive comes with a nice looking leather case. It features an elastic strap to keep the Hotdrive from slipping out of the case. The case is slightly padded and provides some protection for the Hotdrive.
The Hotdrive 2.5" Mobile Hard Disk is a great alternative for those of us who need more storage space that a flash drive can provide, and still be portable.
