To test the unit out we used netstumbler to record our results. At a distance of 50 feet from our Wireless Broadband Router we first tried the buffalo WiFi card without the cAntenna attached and then with it. Two walls were also between the access point and the laptop.
As you can see from the results the Deluxe cAntenna made a big difference. The unit is light weight and small enough to be portable even when wardriving. Etherdesigns makes high quality WiFi antennas at affordable prices, so if you need to boost your WiFi signal you should check them out.
**Update**
Further tests have been done and we were able to successfully link with an access point at a distance of 500 feet!
