Is your WiFi access point not able to reach all areas of your house? Or perhaps you would like to use your laptop to connect to the internet out doors but your wifi signal just won't cut it. Well you could go the expensive way and get a WiFi antenna to boost your AP's signal, but there's a more reasonably priced solution.
The solution? Etherdesigns.com's WiFi Deluxe cAntenna. These 'can' shaped antennas have been optimized to give the best performance and signal boost to your WiFi, while still being very reasonably priced.
The Deluxe cAntenna comes weatherized with a black powder coat finish, which not only protects it from moisture, but also
from corrosion, heat, solvents, chemicals, and U/V rays. The front of the can is sealed as well to protect from the elements.
The can is made from a durable but still light weight metal that will stand up to everyday use.
On the bottom of the cAntenna is an N-female connector which attaches to a pigtail that is either connected to your WiFi Router or WiFi card. The connector also has O-rings to prevent moisture from getting in as well as a solder lug washer for attaching a ground wire for outdoor use.
To make the cAntenna handier and easier to use, a tripod mount is included. This is the standard 1/4" x 20 screw mount that most camera tripods use today.
