I'd like to thank Nikki of Thermaltake for providing us with the Venus 12 for review.
Thermaltake has a new heatsink fan combo for the new Athlon 64 and Opteron processors. This new model is very similar in design to their Extreme Volcano 12 heatsink with similar features such as the two fan speed controllers and the same 72.92 CFM Fan.
Here we see the new fan design that Thermaltake is using lately. This 80mm x 80mm fan has only 3 fan blades but still pushes out 26.5 CFM to 72.92 of air. The new design is supposed to increase air flow and eliminate air turbulence.
As for the heatsink it's self, it's constructed completely of copper and features 73 fins to dissipate the heat. The design of heatsink looks quite promising and reminds me of the same quality construction of the Volcano 12 only bigger.
