Thermaltake's Silent Boost

Company: Thermaltake.com
Product: Heatsink

I'd like to thank Thermaltake for providing us with the Silent Boost for review.

Today we take a look at one of the latest heatsink fan combo offered by Thermaltake the Silent Boost. With its all copper construction and unique fan design the Silent Boost looks like it's sure to be a good performer.

One of the first things you notice about the Silent Boost heatsink is its oddly designed fan. This uniquely designed fan frame is supposed to significantly reduce the noise level of the fan. The "slots" allow for Multi-directional air intake which increases airflow while keeping the relative noise at minimal.

The heatsink also features a nice 3-Point metal clip to securely install it to the motherboard.

As for the heatsink it's self, it's constructed completely of copper and features 41 fins to dissipate the heat. The design of heatsink looks quite promising and reminds me of the same quality construction that my SLK-800 is made of.
