Evercool's K802-715 HSF

The k802-715 comes equipped with a fairly sturdy plastic retention clip that makes Installation easy to accomplish.

The heat sink is solidly constructed and the bottom of the unit is shipped with a protective sticker to prevent scratches.

To calculate the idle temperatures, I gave the computer 10 minutes on its own before recording the temperature down. Next, using Sandra burn in wizard I allowed it to run 30 minutes and recorded the readings. We will be comparing the K802-715 with Thermaltakes SilentBoost K8

The 802-715 cooler performed about the same as the SilentBoost K8. Possibly the Silentboost did better because of the special fan that it had.

Definitely consider the K802-715 from Evercool if you're looking for a new heatsink fan combo for your new AMD 64 system.
