I'd like to thank Zalman for providing us with the CNPS7000A-CU Heatsink for review.
The battle between a silent computer and one that stays cool has been a long drawn out war. Usually the user would have to settle for something in between, but when zalman sent us their CNPS7000A-CU heatsink we thought we may have to change our thinking.
The cnps7000a-cu is of an all copper construction, and is topped by a huge 92mm fan. Also included is a fan speed controller to let you adjust your fan speed/noise ratio.
Zalman has also provided 3 different mounting techniques for various cpu types. The heatsink can be used with, INTEL Pentium 4 (Socket 478), AMD Athlon/Duron/Athlon XP (Socket 462), and the new AMD Athlon 64 (Socket 754).
