Also included with the memory card slots you have two USB and one firewire port right on the front.

Installation is pretty straight forward. First you'll need an empty 5.25" bay. The unit is slid into the bay and secured with screws.

I suggest connect the wires to the 7 in 1 first, otherwise you'll have to reach in to the computer and plug them in from behind. Not much room in there. :)

Next thing is to connect the USB and firewire cables to your motherboard. Consult your motherboards manual for the correct pins to connect to.

The last thing to do is install the drivers from the disk and then you're done.

One thing i like about this 7 in 1 reader/writer is the extra face plate that comes in black. The two most popular colors of manufacturers of computer cases (other than beige) are black and silver and Bytecc has you covered.

I placed a secure digital card in the unit and it was immediately recognized as another drive. Transfers to and from the 64 meg SD card took only a few seconds.

The Bytecc 7 in 1 reader/writer is a cool looking and handy device, and with the capability of reading and writing seven types of memory cards this unit has you covered.

Pros:

-USB 2.0
-USB and Firewire ports
-7 Card Formats
-Extra Face plate

Cons:
-
