Are you in the market for a new videocard but can't afford the top of line? We'll today we take a look at the mid-ranged priced PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro 128meg videocard so come check it out.
The 9600 Pro comes packed complete with manual, a copy of WinDVD 4, and RCA cables. The card is powered with a GPU core of 400mhz and DDR memory running at 600mhz (2x300mhz).
The 9600 Pro takes advantage of the new Direct X 9.0 which give better performance and 3d imagery in Multimedia.
The Card uses Quad-Pipe architecture which delivers real-time cinematic rendering and animation. Using Smartshader 2.0 it delivers more complex and cinematic-quality lighting effects. One other feature it uses is called Smartvision. Smartvision sharpens and clears up graphics without sacrificing frame rates.
Also supported is AGP 8X for increased speed and performance.
The Radeon 9600 Pro can be used with two independent displays. This allows you to use a TV, LCD, etc as an alternate way of viewing or to extend the size of your desktop between two displays.
