Today we're taking a look at the TR-M2 heatsink and fan combo from Thermaltake's sister company TR2TT. TR2TT's products are aimed at the budget conscious buyer and we're going to check out how well the TR-M2 performs.

The TR2-M2 is an all aluminum heatsink with a copper base for greater heat dissipation. It features an easy to clip 3 lug retention clip.
The fan is a T.M.D. (Tip-Magnetic Driving) fan : its smaller hub area allows air directed to the centralized heat source, improve cooling performance.
Also included is Thermaltake's fan speed controller which features three level settings of low, medium and high.

The TR2-M2 comes with thermal grease already installed. This is not a thick gummy style grease but a smoother easier to remove type, which is great because i plan to use Arctic silver instead.
