The HP 620 as stated earlier has 3 quality settings: 1 star - good, 2 star - better, and 3 star - best.
With 8 megs of internal memory, that works out to the following:
1 Star - 87 images
2 Star - 14 images (4 by 6 inches)
3 Star - 7 images (8 by 10 inches)
The HP 620 has a slot for a secure digital card so you can expand the memory, for taking more pictures.
One cool feature is the flash. There are four settings: Auto flash which the camera uses when necessary.
A Red-eye reduction setting, and flash on and flash off.
On the back of the unit, it features a 1.5 inch led display. Here you can preview pictures you have taken and decided whether or not to keep or delete them. This is also where you can select the quality of the pictures, change the settings of the flash and other features of the camera.
One thing I didn’t like about the unit is it did not include an AC adapter. This would have been a nice addition so you could save on batteries. An AC adapter is available for purchase separately though, and would allow you to recharge NIMH rechargeable batteries straight from the unit.
I was pleasantly surprised that the 620 took such good quality pictures for a 2.1 mega pixel camera. And anyone on a budget should find this camera a good value.
Pros:
- 3 picture quality settings.
- Flash.
- Auto-Focus.
- LED Display.
- Up to 12 x Zoom.
